Paso Robles Amtrak

From the Historic Paso Robles Train Depot (PRB) travelers board Amtrak for daily stops heading north- and south-bound.  The Depot is platform-only and no ticketing is available. At the Cypher lounge, travelers enjoy the best of all worlds: a glass of premium, exclusive wines and the convenience to the boarding platform just a few steps from the lounge patio.  Visit the Cypher lounge an hour before departure for wine, tea, coffee, cold beverages and snacks.

Southbound from Paso Robles

Going to Los Angeles Union Station (LAX) from Paso Robles Historic Train Depot (PRB)? There are seven departures daily. The 1:38 PM Coast Starlight is the daily direct train.  Other departures travel the Amtrak bus with through connections in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara.

Northbound from Paso Robles

Scheduled daily to board Paso Robles (PRB) at 4:37. The Coast Starlight train originates in Los Angeles and travels to Seattle. The Coast Starlight train passes through the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento and Portland. Widely regarded as one of the most spectacular of all train routes,showcasing unsurpassed scenery.


Paso Robles does not have a ticketing office. Charge your electronic devices and get them ready to show your eTicket to the conductor or station personnel. Grab your rail pass or paper tickets, if issued.
