2014 GRENACHE-Willow Creek, Paso Robles
Black stone fruit with provencal herb, black cherry, fig, anise, pepper and spice. The palate is alive with bright acidity that makes the fruit pop. Long finish with soft tannins that trail into an elegant oak finish. $55/bottle, $12/glass
2013 ONE TREE HILL SYRAH- Los Alamos, Santa Barbara
On the nose, violets and berry fruit with hints of cherry cola, cassis, pepper and provencal herb. On the palate, rich plum, cherry and cassis. A long mid-palate with hints of black pepper and provencal herb trailing into toasted oak and vanilla. $55/bottle, $12/glass
2014 KCV SM-Willow Creek, Paso Robles
Blackberry, winter spices, vanilla, mocha and a touch of oak. Chocolate, cherry, bright red berry fruit, rhubarb and spice. A big mouthfeel trails forever into crème brulee. $55/bottle, $12/glass
2014 SLAYER - Santa Margarita Ranch
Bordeaux blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 25% Petit Verdot shows blackberry and raspberry nose that runs deep into rich notes of toasted cedar. Black current and cherry with long lingering tannins that turn into a velvet mouthfeel. The complex structure encapsulates rich blackberry fruit that finishes with toasted oak and vanilla caramel. $60/bottle, $13/glass

30% Touriga Nacional, 16% Tinta Cao, 16% Souzao, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Teroldego, 11% Tina Roriz. Huge nose packaed with anise, dark cherry, black tea, mocha and spice. Lush juicy blueberry, cranberry, raspberry and pomegranate. Caramel and espresso with intense structure that trails into a mocha oak finish. $55/bottle, $12/glass
