Ingredients
- 3 cups Cypher Red, Ethereal White, or Evanescense Rosé
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups sugar
- 1.75 ounce package pectin powder
Instructions
Step 1
- Pour a sip of wine in your Cypher wine tumbler 🙂
Step 2
- Combine wine, lemon juice, and pectin in a large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Add sugar, stirring until dissolved. Return to a rolling boil.
- Boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat. Skim foam off the top, if necessary.
Step 3 (Optional)
- Ladle hot jelly into hot sterilized jars, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
- Tighten 2 piece lids. Process for 5 minutes in a boiling water bath.
